US Air Force Museum

Jen and I have visited several aerospace museums in the last year. There’s just something about old planes, especially on the military side, that are extremely interesting to me. Just taking a second to imagine what it must have been like to be in a bomber in WWII gives me so much respect for the generations that came before us.

Of those we’ve seen, the National Museum of the US Air Force has been the most impressive. Here we got to see the Memphis Belle, Bockscar, Mig fighters, bombers from the Crome Dome era, the Thunder Screech, several presidential planes (before there was an Air Force to designate Air ForceForce One), and so much more. If you’re in Dayton Ohio, set aside several hours and see it for yourself.
