Slhanay

Despite all of our trips to Squamish, we have somehow not made it up to Slahanay. This formation isn’t as clean as some of the surrounding cliffs, but it has a whole ton of five-to-eight pitch routes that look amazing. I can’t wait to sample them one by one.

Jen and I started with Jungle Warfare, which at 5.10a is the easiest route on the formation. Some of it was dirty, and most of it was easy, but the vast majority was super fun climbing in an excellent location. On the rap down and the hike out we eyed up some other excellent looking lines. We have a lot of exploring to do in Squamish still, but we will definitely be back here.
