Outside The Park

Up and down the West Coast of Canada you’ll find some of the best trails on earth. Between Pemberton, Whistler, Squamish, and the North Shore you’ll find next-level creativity from trail builders. Their use of the terrain by far surpasses anything I’ve ever seen in Utah. Before and after our couple days in the bike park, Jen and I got to sample some excellent examples of this. Cream Puff in Pemberton and Somewhere Over There in Squamish both have incredible rock slabs, Ditch Pig has some great high-speed technical riding, and Airplane Mode is maybe the best jump line I’ve ever ridden, with a trail sigh that puts all others to shame.

After finishing off the trip with some great trails, Jen and I headed over to Vashon Island to hang out with our good friends Steve and Anastasia, kick back by the water for a couple days, and decompress before driving back home to the real world.

I can’t wait to head back north again. I love it every time.
