As someone who grew up sliding a beater truck around gravel roads in Eastern Washington, I’ve always been a fan of Rally Racing. So, when we figured out that the Oregon Trail Rally was happening while we were in Oregon, of course we decided to go.
After two days of hanging out in the pits and watching cars mobbing down dirt roads at 120mph, two things became clear… First, rallying is just like 3-Gun with cars—the same people, the same conversations, the same friendships and the same shit talking. Just add a 0 to the cost of everything. Second, I need to do this some day. Anyone have a beat up a Subaru?
