The best part of Mt Rushmore National Memorial is that there happens to be quite a lot of climbing there. Honestly, of all the climbing areas we visited in South Dakota, it was probably the best rock with the best routes. And you just can’t beat the super-chill hang with other climbers just over the hill from all the tourists.
And if I’m being honest, looking up at those four faces carved in the mountain made me even more upset about the current presidential race. Damn we’ve fallen a long way.
