The Liberty Lubricants 3 Gun Team Match is pure chaos. It’s as outlaw as outlaw matches get. There are no gear restrictions at all. Want to use the 6.5 Creedmoor for the rifle spinner? Fine. PCC instead of a pistol? No problem. Stage a whole shotgun full of slugs just incase? Why wouldn’t you? It’s common for the other competitors on your squad to be calling your long range hits or running guns to you if your’s go down.
I teamed up with Adam Maxwell and Zac Haarbrink. We managed to pull off a second place finish and had an awesome time doing it. For a quick idea of just how much shooting there was—the full match video is nearly 32 minutes long and most stages were over 200 seconds. Some stages had an entire bay of falling steel, and others had rifle out to 940 yards. If you want hard shooting, and a lot of it (and have two friends who will hang out with you for a couple days) then this is the match for you.
