After about five weeks, Jen and I decided to leave Squamish. The plan is to head to Revelstoke for some biking, and to visit some friends before going over the pass to Banff, Canmore, and the Canadian Rockies for more climbing.
Our first stop out of town was a short hike up to Joffre Lake. I’m usually not one to go on a hike if there isn’t climbing at the end of it, but it’s pretty hard to pass up a place this beautiful. Although I will admit, at the top, after a cold swim, I was eyeing potential lines on every steep thing around me.
