Not wanting to get fully into the winter season yet, Jen and I decided to head to Joshua Tree for Christmas. We came through there twice during our trip and have been wanting to get back, and we’re glad we did. The weather was excellent, and the climbing was great. It was the first time I had been on rock since July, and in many ways was a test to see if I still liked climbing after doing it for 15 months straight. Turns out, I do. It felt great to be back on the rock, and I can’t wait for more.
