With the latest storm rolling through, Rick, Jen, and myself decided to get the goods while the gettin’s good and planned a dawn patrol for Wednesday morning. The chilly morning and gusty winds did a good job of shaking off the last bit of sleepiness that I felt, and the three of us were rewarded for the early morning tour with some outstanding conditions.
In fact, it was so good that when Rick and I finished work, we met up again and went back for more. There are few things that will make you feel better about how you live your life than skiing deep powder under the shadow of Mt Superior while the sun sets behind it. This was one of those days that makes me feel incredibly fortunate to live my life the way that I do. Somewhere, there is a guy driving a Ferrari home from a job where he makes a half-million dollars a year—and I feel sorry for him.
