For the third Super Bowl Sunday in a row, SLC ice climbers who could care less about organized sports followed Kyle Dempster’s lead and went up to the half-way ledge of the Great White Icicle to eat some BBQ and drink some beer with friends. This year had an even bigger turnout than past seasons despite Kyle not being able to attend because he had to attend an ice festival. The approach pitches looked like Everest on a summit day. It was mayhem, but everyone got up relatively unscathed and proceeded to drink, eat, and have a kickass time.
