This weekend was my first time shooting the Colorado 3 Gun Championships presented by Burris Optics, and I have to say that Triple Kevin and his crew did an excellent job putting 8 really good stages on the ground. I’m not usually a big fan of bay-stage matches, but these were a great mix of wide-open shredding and tight, technical shots. Every stage had some place where you could push just a bit too hard on the gas and throw it all away.
I was lucky enough to pull out a 4th place finish in a very stacked TacOps field behind Daniel Jirasek, Glenn Shelby, and Bob Krogh. When Bob says he doesn’t know how to shoot 3 gun because he’s “just a pistol shooter,” don’t believe him!
